Choose a content you would like to teach in class 8 and prepare a lesson plan to teach the content. Cover the 6 components of instructional design in your plan. When you prepare it, share it on your blog.

I have prepared a lesson plan for class 4. The six components of instructional design in my lesson plan are as follows:

Lesson plan format

Subject: Science                                             Time: 35 minutes

Topic: Diseases                                                                           Period: Second

1.     Learning objectives:
After the lesson students will be able to (describe, tell, explain, do, create, write etc)
       Describe the types of diseases.
       Describe the symptoms of diseases.
       Explain the preventive and control measures diseases.
 
2.     Needs assessment
First of all, before starting the chapter I would like to know the level of knowledge of students regarding the topic. Also, I will ask with them different question about diseases, their symptoms and preventive measures.
3.     Instructional strategies
 
Introduction:
I will start my class by providing the general overview about the subject matter and activities for the students.
Then after, I will divide the students into 3 groups and introduce them about the subject matter. Then, they will discuss about various types of disease they know from their society. The students will present their understanding and knowledge. They came to know about the symptoms of disease and how to cure.
Group 1- types of diseases.
Group 2- Symptoms of diseases.
Group 3- preventive and control measures of disease.
I will manage the group by helping them if they have any problem or queries.
Main part/ teaching steps: what activities, what does the teacher do? What do students do? (Concept time)                                                                                                                     
At first, I will give a brief introduction of the topics which they will be discussing. I will also give some examples of different types of diseases. I will motivate them to do their best.
Soft skills: - Students will be able to practise culture of cleanliness.
Conclusions:
I will ask each group to present their views and tasks assigned to them. I will appreciate their efforts and active participation.

Course book and photos.
4.     Assessment and Evaluation
For the assessment and evaluation purpose, I will like to make group for all students. I will tell them to present at least 2-3 points about the topics assigned to them. I will instruct them to discuss with each other about the topic. After the discussion I will also make them sure about the queries and issues. I will evaluate the students understanding and their knowledge.
Homework (Creative)
 I will assign them to search about the preventive and control measures of diseases.
5.     Technology integration
With the help of video conference or various AI (Artificial conference) based technology, students can learn about various material, methods, and their symptoms with experts. Also, they came to know how to cure those problem.
6.     Feedback and revision
I would like to figure out the lesson by concluding the important point about communicable disease. Also, I will like to ask the students about their problem and queries regarding this chapter. The discussion class will be held with student to take feedback and let them understand this chapter and clear their queries.
